Budget Estimate

(For the financial year 2008-2009)

 

            On the basis of amended provisions of Article 202 and 203 of Accounts Code for Kendriya Vidyalayas (Chapter 21) & its approval by the Chairman, Board of Governors, KVS vide letter no.F.6-7/2007-08/KVS(Budget) dated 06/07/2007 (copy enclosed) regarding Financial Ceilings, the KVS has fixed the financial limit up to which expenditure can be incurred at the school level out of VVN on various items per annum. The existing ceilings and delegation of powers was reviewed by the Finance Committee of KVS in its meeting held on 13th June, 2007 and recommended the revised ceilings and delegation of powers for approval of the Board of Governors and accordingly the recommendations of the Finance Committee have been approved by the Board of Governors of the Sangathan in its meeting held on 20/06/2007. This limit is for a school having less than two sections with an average of 1000 student strength and Vidyalayas having more than two sections with an average students strength exceeding 1000 can incur expenditure with pro rata increase in respect of below mentioned items at serial numbers 1,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,13,14 & 17 and in respect of other items at serial numbers 2,3,11,12,15,16 & 18 can incur expenditure as per actual requirement up to a maximum 20% in excess of prescribed ceiling.

This Vidyalaya is having three sections with a total strength of 1651 (says 1700) at present. We hereby put up the same before the Chairman, VMC for approval of the Budget Estimate for the financial year 2008-2009 in respect of this Vidyalaya as head/item wise details given below;-
